My motivation....

I am so excited about this couch to 5k experience. Mostly I am excited because I know the pounds start falling off when you are running. Chrisanna, my sister, has been running for years and I always get advice from her. The other day I told her it was my first day to start Couch to 5k and she told me to tell her how it went. Well, I told her it went great but needed new tennis shoes because the ones I have felt like I have 5lbs weights on my feet.. Her repy, " As you lose weight it gets easier. I can always tell if I've gained a few pounds because I am not as light." I began to think to myself, "The fatter you are the harder it is to run???" No wonder I'm so worn out after running!! So I can't use the excuse of my tennis shoes being to heavy! :O) I am really excited about running a 5k race sometime this summer ...This will be the first time in my life I have ever raced for anything....Guess when it happens I can mark it off my "bucket list." Speaking of "bucket list" I think we should all have one. I honestly don't have a list of things I want to do before I die but that is something to think about. I think I will come up with a list and post next time. This will be fun!!
Thank you Lord for this beautiful weather, and for this beautiful Earth we live on!! Happy Earth Day.....

Sweet tooth
My new best friend..

Feel free to give me some weight watcher recipes....
Ross and I are getting pretty lonely these days. Farming is in full swing and Adam doesn't get home until 9:00 or 9:30 most nights. So it makes for a long day...My sister has been on me about starting to run so we can run a race together. I've never been a big runner, but I know there are major benefits such as losing this baby weight! I can stay on the elliptical all day long, but when I get on that treadmill and boost the speed up I feel like a dead weight! I am trying to add running to my work out a few minutes at a time so I can eventually build up my endurance. I guess if you run for so long you normally get over the breathy tired part and get into a rhythm. I don't know ...I'm just going to keep trying and my goal is to run a 5K in the near (late) future!!
PS...Any suggestions for good running music I can download??

Continued........
welcome to our circus....This was our attempt to take a picture for Mom's Christmas card. Needless to say she didn't use the pics we took. Jackson kept playing in the pile of leaves that Mom insisted we sit in for our picture??!(Not sure why a pile of leaves! Guess she wanted an autumn feeling!) Notice Gage, Mom and Dad's dog, who decided that he would mark his spot (if you know what I mean) while we tried to get a good picture, but Jackson kept playing in the leaves :O)!
Things at Adam's parents are not as hectic and wild, but in the next few months I have a feeling that Ross and his little cousin will be the "stars of the show!
Mickey and Denise with Ross (Adam's parents)
Kim and I both pregnant.
Today was a very eventful day. Ross had his first set of shots!! Glad it's over.
Worn out from his stressful day!

What to write?

Ross at two months!

Now that I have finished my first post, I wonder if people are really worried about these things. But I must say that it is nice to just write and reflect. Not sure if I will remember to post everyday, but will try. It is hard to type a blog when you are holding a baby! ( :O) see pic below) The wrist brace is due to carpal tunnel, Thanks to post-pregnancy hormones! and No I am not smothering my child.....The things we do to get on the internet!
